They're also easy to use using an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're doing.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

If you're searching for the most effective robot vacuum and mop combination with cutting-edge features, take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end model is incredibly fast and nimble and can pick up dirt such as hair from pets and human hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a miniature map of your house and a few buttons on the screen to control the device manually.

The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode according to dirt levels. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust, while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.

The mop roller comes with a number of other smart features, such as docks that can be connected to your home plumbing system to clean and wash it without needing to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to specify room cleaning modes and granular control using only your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile choices. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums with combo features that also feature mops but is priced at a lower price than many of the competitors.

Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to begin, which includes creating an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though, the robot can start vacuuming and mopping with ease.

It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process could take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate image of your space. The object detection is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a rug with tassels, and required a flip to release itself. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need a cleaning companion that does all of the above.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping feature a rotating motion similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are truly cleaned and not just swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an innovative tool that can reach areas where robot vacuums cannot.

The model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa, and a few additional intelligent features. The upgraded RGBD sensor is able to learn your home better and offer dynamic obstacle avoidance. The app's smart features allow you to alter a variety of settings, including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads and empty their dust bins, and place debris into a self-sealing bag. This helps to keep the system clean and prevents allergens from recirculating. And its battery life is long enough to handle large spaces without requiring a recharge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot vacuum with mop vacuum and mop model that offers impressive features at a reasonable price. It is equipped with powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also has a unique mopping method, that uses a roller that is continuously filled with water to pick dirt and then deposit it in the dirty water tank.

Its navigation technology performed well in navigating close to walls without falling and avoiding stairs. It had trouble with fine debris and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also relatively high, so it may be a less reliable set-and-forget model than other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dust bin and dry and wash the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with an established schedule. Eufy's application lets you manage all the functions. It gives you clear information and plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot vacuums best vacuums/mowers available, and it offers an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with reasonable accuracy. The app allows users to fine-tune the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones, or modify their cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which could be a major issue with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also incorporates intelligent carpet detection, lifting the pads up when they're close to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of them.

The docking station acts as an unmanned maintenance center that automatically washes and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins every time they have to be cleaned.

6. S10

This robot is only a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my home office clean. It also has the ability to reach the corners of my tiny apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to make an image of your home and knows which areas to avoid. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not Poop) unlike most vacuums.

It also has some outstanding highlights, such as an automatic vacuum and mop emptying dustbin and a mop pad self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach places that other mops don't. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and customize settings for every room in your home.

Similar to the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping, and can distinguish between laminate, carpets and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. And, if you want to save time, it can even skip mopping in rooms that aren't filthy. If you have several types of flooring options in your home and don't want to invest additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities, this is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle regular maintenance and touch-ups for messy messes that are wet, this robot is a good choice. It comes with a variety of features, including a self emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used for refilling water, as well as adjustable settings through the app. It is surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to pick up the tangled tassels of a rug and it drains its battery quicker than other models we tried.

With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and useful automation into a sleek. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming however, it did quite well. It also comes with a selection of cleaning options to suit your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for light debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for carpeted rooms. It can even automatically remove and reattach the mop pads without causing your carpets soaked.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum that can be used in small areas. It's quiet and quick and does a good job of navigating tight spots. It also does a excellent job of pulling pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be configured to take photos of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they are not taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and not tied to your account.

It is great at vacuuming, but it's not so good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
