Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide

Item upgrading is a key element to maximize the potential of your gear. It lets you add additional bonus stats over the value of your base item.

Each upgrade template comes with an array of options that can be changed using the edition GUI. These options include the upgrading reference and the upgrading chance.

Upgrade components

The process for upgrading weapons, armor and other equipment in Cyberpunk 2077 was redesigned as part of the 2.0 update. Upgrade components can be found all over Night City, and the item that you want to upgrade must have an upgrade slot. If you select an item to upgrade the game will display a preview of what the expected statistics will be following upgrading, along with the required component or material required. If you do not have the necessary level of component or resource to upgrade the item, then the button will read "Blocked."

The items that can be upgraded include weapons and armor and trinkets and gathering tools. The upgrade slots on each of these are filled with different upgrades that offer bonus features or additional effects when the equipment is being used. These upgrades are available through crafting, bought from a seller, or taken as a reward.

There are two kinds of upgrade components: gems and universal upgrades. Universal upgrades which are similar to gemstones can be used in any type of equipment, and provide less of a benefit than other types of upgrade components. It is easy to obtain these, as they are dropped by enemies or looted across the globe. Gems can be obtained through disassembling objects or completing specific missions.

Upgrades can be replaced by new upgrades in a weapon's upgrade slot. However, doing so could destroy the previous upgrade. Except for glyphs, which may be inserted into gathering tools, all other upgrades cannot be removed or salvaged after they are placed in an item. Infusions, which can be placed in ascended equipment or legendary equipment, and enhancements that can only be extracted using an upgrade extractor or by salvaging the item using an advanced salvage kit can be replaced once per hour.

Recycled Items

During the last two world wars, the scarcity of natural resources drove the world to embrace recycling. Recycling aluminum or plastic, as well as paper is a common practice. They get a new lease on life. In fact, recycling saves energy and prevents carbon dioxide from escaping into the atmosphere. It is also a great method to avoid landfills and save natural resources. It is nevertheless important to know what materials can be recycled and what can't.

A common mistake that people make is to put things that are not appropriate in the recycling bin. These materials not only pollute the stream, but can also damage recycling equipment. To avoid this, make sure you read the label and adhere to the guidelines of your recycling program. For instance, cardboard should not be mixed with tin or steel cans, and tissue must be put in the trash. Plastic bags can also get stuck in recycling machines, and should be returned to the grocery store for reuse. Berry containers and food containers are also items that can be disposed of. The only exception to this rule is glass, which can be used as a building material.

When shopping for new items it is important to look for the tag "Made using recycled materials." This means that the item is made from recycled materials from other products that have already fulfilled their intended use. This makes them a more green option than new items made of raw materials. In addition they are considerably less expensive than virgin ones.

It doesn't matter if it's an old tablet, phone or computer, you can reuse these items by taking them to a recycling center. They will reuse this material to make new electronics and useful products. Some of these companies will offer you cash for the return of your old items.

If you want your coworkers' recycling to be easier, make it standardized the colors of the bins and signs at your workplace. This will reduce confusion and boost participation. Additionally, ensure that you have a designated place for recycling in your office, such as a centralized bin or a box in the breakroom.

The amount of extras that are added to an item changes with each level. The value of the extra is calculated as a percent of the total stats of the item. Rerolling a token could alter the value. In addition, the recycle value will also increase with every upgrade. The value of the item level upgrade's principal stat increases by +3 every time it's upgraded, however the value of the other stats may be different.

Leveling

However, it also increases the cost of upgrades and requires an amount of materials to complete the process. The type of material required is dependent on the item. For example, weapons use a mixture of Destruction Stones and Guardian Stones. Armor uses Harmony Leapstones and Shards. The addition of additional materials can increase the likelihood of success, but it's not a guarantee.

The leveling process uses a formula to determine the amount of damage, magic attack and defense the upgraded item receives when it is upgraded. The formulas differ depending on the type of weapon used and rarity. In addition, there is an upper limit for each type of weapon.

When the item upgrader mod reaches its highest level when it reaches its maximum level, the NPC will show an Upgrade option that allows the player to use the item to gain experience and upgrade it to the next level.
