What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The second is the cost of the materials required for an upgrade. These items are usually Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons, or specific Mists Of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor Quests. The quantity of these items required can be seen in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.

Upgrades to an item are a complex process that requires time. Based on the magnitude of the upgrade, it can take as long as 8 hours. The base stats of the upgraded item are calculated based upon its new ilvl and other characteristics. This calculation determines the latest Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important statistics. In some cases, the upgrade will grant additional perks that can be selected from a variety of advantages.

In rare instances the upgrade will replace only the highest-costing bonuses.
