Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.

The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll a purchased item like an armor, weapon, or rings. This replaces the item with another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't maintain the original level of the item, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests, or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of a piece equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll their equipment using three categories three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Each upgrade component will require the purchase of a certain amount of items as well as a certain level of equipment.

Requirements

Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get an exact roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.

When you select an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the necessary requirements. These include the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of the item, the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
