best robot vacuum and mop Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized using an app that can save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also alter the suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgA mapping feature helps your robot vacuum cleaners uk navigate through rooms, while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These are essential features for my home, which is filled with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, so it naturally comes with a host of features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and raise its brushes or mop pads to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also can avoid obstacles by finding pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting system which lifts the pad when it goes from laminate to tile, hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means that you can set it and forget it, only needing to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I used it on its normal vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base for a recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've test.

This is a highly well-rounded and capable product, with its only downsides being that it's pricey. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mop. We highly recommend this model when you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combo. Its price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combos available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well across the home. It removed 98.4 percent of the debris on all kinds of floors and was able to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's main highlight is its multi-functional docking station. The dock empties its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dry the mop pads for you. It also features a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its intelligent controls.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops I test and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station, dustbag, and water tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads sold separately also require changing regularly.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a tight budget, I recommend a more basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could buy however, its price and ongoing maintenance would make it more a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that can clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered robovac and mop combo packs an impressive suction force of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity to power both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacle-avoiding. It has a mop with a roller that is self-cleaning and makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is almost entire length of the bot and is constantly dosed with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements and is poured into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds plenty of water, and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop sets like the S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do by cleaning the dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to choose to use this feature, you'll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your own cleaner of choice.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with larger piles several times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, but it still has some amazing features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot vacuum best's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean the entire area that this device maps or select specific rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've created. There are several mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the area.

Like all the Roborock models we've examined like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system works well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in an organized way. The 'Normal" pathing settings cover a room well, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well too, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards such as thick carpets, but it may not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

This device has a major problem: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who regularly vacuum before using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the mopping feature of the vacuum to remove the last remnants of dust and debris that you've left behind from your vacuuming. It's a nice feature, and it helps the robot to make its clean better than its less expensive competitors.
